Darrel is a Level 3 accredited counsellor and supervisor, registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). who has worked as a professional counsellor since 2020, prior to this, Darrell supported bereaved mother’s and families through volunteer peer support work within the community and with Sids and Kids, Red Nose and SANDS, since 2005.
Darrell has worked professionally in the sectors of suicide and community mental health support, domestic and intimate partner violence, sexual and childhood abuse and entered private practice in 2022.
Darrell offers counselling for mental health challenges including anger, suicidality, stress, anxiety, trauma, and grief, and now focuses on Relationship and Family therapy.
Registered provider for: BUPA, Police Health Fund, Emergency Services Health, Phoenix Health, St Lukes Health, GMHBA and CUA Health (telehealth only), Teachers Union Health, AIA and Westfund, HCF, Medibank.
